Frequently Asked Questions

The camping trip will take place from after work on Friday night – arrive whenever you can. Campsite check-out is at 11.30 am on Sunday, 22nd September. You’re invited to stay in town for lunch at a local café before we hit the road home.

We will stay on the river in a powered site at the Warburton holiday park.

The cost for the trip is 50 per person. This covers the cost of the campsites If finances are a barrier to you joining us, please reach out to Kat to arrange a sponsored spot on the trip

You should bring a tent or caravan, a sleeping bag, personal camping gear, comfortable clothing and shoes, a Bible, snacks, drinks to share, and any personal items you may need. Don’t forget sunscreen and bug spray!

Let us know if you don’t have gear. We have extra equipment available for you to borrow, or we can help you arrange to share with others.

Not at all! Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a seasoned camper or it’s your first time. We will help you with anything you need, and the holiday park provides bathrooms, BBQs and laundry facilities

Yes, but we need your help! We ask each person to share the load by purchasing or preparing part of the Saturday meals. Please opt for either lunch or dinner that day! You’ll be paired up with another camper ahead of the trip.

Kat and Jordan will have a warm meal waiting for you at camp on Friday night!

Please bring any additional snacks or special dietary items you may need. If you have dietary restrictions, let us know in advance.

Absolutely! Feel free to invite friends who would enjoy a weekend of fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth. Just make sure they RSVP too.

Aside from a daily devotional, the weekend will have no formal structure. We are all adults here, and we can decide what we want to do each day.

Options include local hikes, exploring the town, fishing in the river, board games, and reading

There will be ample time to spend together or have a moment alone to rest!

This camping trip is designed for young adults, typically ages 18 -35. If you are outside this range but still interested, please reach out to Kat to discuss.
